The AccraFab Team is comprised of Engineers that work sheet metal, machining, and assembly on a daily basis and have extensive knowledge of both processes and materials. When contacted by an interested organization, our engineering team performs a design review, establishes the scope of work, and outlines a timetable for completion. Once contracted, AccraFab’s Custom Design Engineering Services Division can:

• Create models and prints from customer supplied media to optimize design for manufacturability opportunities.
• Reverse engineer customer supplied parts while identifying ways to reduce cost.
• Design and create fixtures for manufacturing to improve efficiency and quality.
• Establish and create standard work procedures and documentation.
• Analyze new or legacy designs looking for ways to reduce cost and eliminate components.
• Collaborate with customer and any other designated teams to provide the best and most innovative designs and products possible.
• List and check to ensure all deliverables (prints, CAD models, design literature, etc.) are complete and organized, as agreed to, at the time of contract signing.

Our custom design engineering services begin with a print of a design that is first sent to the estimating department and undergoes an in-depth design review. This ensures that the design is compatible and optimized for our processes. Once a review is complete, we quote pricing based on customer input for their desired quantities, and can also provide pricing for EOQ (economic order quantities) for comparison.
