INWAC Board of Directors Welcomes New Chair

The Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium (INWAC) Board of Directors is currently transitioning, as Greg Konkol of AccraFab assumes the role of Chairperson, while Michael Marzetta of Altek steps down after a three-year term. The INWAC Board of Directors works to promote the collaboration among aerospace manufacturers and service providers in the Inland Northwest (INWAC.org).

Marzetta steps down after roughly three years as the Chair for the Board of Directors. Marzetta is the President of Altek, Inc., a Liberty Lake based contract manufacturing company specializing in plastic injection molding, tooling, machining and assembly; serving hi-tech customers in the aerospace, medical, and industrial equipment sectors in Liberty Lake, WA. “I’d like to see INWAC continue to expand, gaining local momentum while also being the catalyst to grow and brand the aerospace cluster so it can become globally recognized,” Marzetta said.

Greg Konkol, a current Director on the INWAC Board, will be assuming the Chair position. Konkol is the President of AccraFab, a contract manufacturer specializing in precision custom metal fabrication, welding, machining, finishing and assembly, also in Liberty Lake, serving the aerospace, energy, test & measurement and medical industries. In an interview at the recent INWAC Gaining Altitude Spring Conference, Konkol said “We have a strong cluster of regional aerospace manufacturers and service providers in the area. I look forward to the various companies coming together to continue to grow the organization; by doing that we can grow the book of business in the region.”

The Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium (INWAC) mission is to develop and promote collaborative relationships between aerospace manufacturers and service providers in the Inland Northwest; facilitating regional business growth by increasing the collective value as an integrated supply chain and expanding the awareness of aerospace manufacturing and services provided within the region. The organization is represented by a membership of about 120 companies composed of manufacturers and service providers in the Inland Northwest serving the aerospace industry.
