Product Cost Estimator/Analyst

Job Summary: Join a small team with a manufacturing company that collaborates to continually improve to be world class! You will be involved in a wide variety of functions, including generating cost estimates and customer quotes, analyzing product costs, pulling together presentations and working on special projects. This position works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service and Purchasing teams.

Qualifications:

Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong organization and communication skills
Proficient in basic math, Windows and Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook & Excel
Previous costing and/or estimating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Blueprint reading experience preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:

Accurate Estimates & Quotes
Work with customer service and engineering to clarify product requirements
Work with vendors and suppliers for costing of materials and subcontracting
Provide customer service with product quotes
Manufacturing Instructions
Review engineered drawings for manufacturability
Redline Customer Specifications and Requirements on manufacturing prints
Develop Bill of Materials (BOM’s) routings
Successful Projects
Analyze costs of products and processes
Contribute to team improvement projects
Research and implement Supply Chain sourcing options
Improved Processes and Procedures
Support a safe, high quality and productive work environment
Follow established best practices and suggest improvements to processes & procedures
Ensure compliance with Quality ISO/AS9100 requirements
Encourage continuous rapid improvement in Dept and throughout the organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
