Job Summary: Join a small team with a manufacturing company that collaborates to continually improve to be world class! You will be involved in a variety of functions that include designing work aids for manufacturing, processing prints with customer supplied information, redlining prints to meet customer satisfaction, and supporting successful implementation. In this position you will manage product realization teams, organize and analyze data, and work closely with the Manufacturing, Customer Service, Purchasing and Estimating Teams.

Qualifications:

Ability to conceptualize, design, and follow design plans through the manufacturing process
Strong project management abilities and working cross-functionally with teams
Proficient in SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
Mechanical Design or Engineer experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to interpret, apply and assist others with GD&T concepts preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as; fabrication, machining, welding, etc. preferred
Experience with CAM software, such as Mastercam, preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:

Print design

Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
Redline customer drawings with specifications and requirements of Manufacturing
Utilize Solidworks and Bluebeam pdf editor to create models and technical drawings
Design internal tooling, jigs and fixtures and other internal projects

Technical Support

Assist with Customer projects, designs, process improvements, cost improvements and other projects
Communicate effectively with Teammates, Customers and Suppliers
Provide technical support for Customer Service/Support and Manufacturing
Maintain technical specifications, process capabilities, tooling libraries, etc.

Successful Projects

Lead product realization teams
Support supply chain sourcing options
Follow projects and designs from conception to completion
Exhibit strong analytical and project management abilities

Improved Processes and Procedures

Support a safe, high quality and productive work environment
Ensure compliance with Quality ISO/AS9100 requirements
Support and contribute to the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
