Maintenance Department Supervisor

POSITION TITLE: Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for overseeing all functions related to the maintenance department to ensure that Company goals in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, Safety and Morale are achieved. Responsible for repairing and/or maintaining shop equipment and facilities.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure a safe work environment in manufacturing. Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and reporting requirements.

· Promote, champion, lead and provide assistance to supervisors, leads and others in continuous improvement initiatives and activities.

· Champion the Company’s core values and guiding principles in the workforce.

· Maintains and repairs shop equipment and facilities using a wide variety of skills, i.e. electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing.

· Responsible for setting up and maintaining preventive maintenance programs.

· Maintains maintenance logs.

· Ensures maintenance supplies are ordered and in stock.

· Contributes to efficient company operations by performing other related duties as assigned.

· Ensure compliance with and follow documented procedures as well as company and department policy.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Three (3) years demonstrated experience and working knowledge of sheet metal equipment.

· Good communication skills.

· Ability to analyze problems, quantitative thinking and verifiable mechanical aptitude.

· Basic math, reading and computer skills.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to bend, stoop and lift.

· Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
